 양응정 (梁應鼎)

 

 


  교리 팽손의 아들이다.

  1552년(명종 7) 식년문과에 급제,
  공조좌랑을 거쳐
  1556년 문과중시에 장원,
  이듬해 공조정랑에 재직중 김홍도(金弘度)와 함께 권신 윤원형(尹元衡)에 의해 파직당했다.
  1560년 복직되어
  1565년 수찬을 거쳐 진주목사가 되고,
  1574년(선조 7) 경주부윤 때 앞서 진주에 재직 때 협잡했다는 대간의 탄핵으로 파직되었다.
  1578년 공조참판에 다시 기용되고, 성절사로 명나라에 갔을 때 부정을 저질렀다는 죄로 다시 파직당했으며, 그후 대사성에 이르렀다.

  시문에 뛰어났고 효행으로 정문이 세워졌다.

  저서로는 송천집(松川集), 용성창수록(龍城唱酬錄)이 있다.
