선산 임씨 (善山林氏)

시조(始祖) : 일세조 임만(林蔓)

  신라말(新羅末) 중랑장(中郞將)을 역임한 양저(良貯: 태사공)를 시조로 하고, 그의 후손 임만(蔓)을 일세조(一世祖)로 하여 세계(世系)를 이어오고 있다.

[ 대표적 인물(代表的人物) ]
  임억령(億齡) : 명종 때 동부승지로 등용되어 병조참의, 강원도관찰사를 역임했으며, 문명이 높았다.
  임백령(百齡) : 임억령의 동생. 명종 때 호조판서로 을사사화(乙巳士禍)를 일으켜 위사공신일등공신이 되고 숭선부원군에 봉해졌으며, 우찬성에 승진되었다.
