오응현 (吳應賢)

  1582년(선조 15) 무과에 급제,
  사복시 판관.
  수문장 등을 지내고,
  임진왜란(壬辰倭亂)이 일어나자 아우 오응필(吳應弼), 응철과 함께 의병을 일으켜 고경명(高敬命) 휘하에 들어가 금산 전투에서 역전하다 아우 응필과 함께 순절했다.

  선무원종 2등공신에 오르고 선략장군에 추증,익산의 덕천사(德川祠)에 제향되었다.
