1408년 식년문과, 1427년(세종 9) 문과중시에
각각 을과로 급제하여 검열, 공조판서, 대제학, 이조판서, 함길도 도관찰사
등을 역임하고, 1450년(세종 32) 이조판서를 거쳐 중추원 부사를 지냈다.
