우봉 김씨 (牛峰金氏)

시조(始祖) : 김오(金澳)

  시조 김오(澳)는 김알지(金閼智)로 하며 신라 경순왕의 셋째 아들인 김명종(鳴鍾)의 아들 김오(澳)을 중시조로 한다.
  김욱은 고려 성종(成宗) 때 시어사(侍御使)로 공(功)을 세워 수지의후에 봉해지고 다시 우잠군(牛岑君, 현 우봉)에 봉해졌으므로 그 후손들이 본관을 우봉(牛峰)으로 하였다. 다른 일설에는 김욱의 5세손인 김원길이 고려 원종 때 도위로 공을 세워 우봉군에 봉해졌으므로 본관을 우봉으로 했다고도 한다.

  ·김지남(指南), 김경문(慶門) : 중추부지사를 지냈다.
