천안 김씨 (天安金氏)

시조(始祖) : 김덕린(金德麟)

시조는 신라 김알지(金閼智)의 후손이며 김세중(金世重)의 아들이다.
  용궁(龍宮)을 세거지로 삼았으며 조선 영조 때 문과에 급제, 직강(直講)을 지냈고 천안 군수를 지냈다고도 한다.
  "국조방목"에 그의 본관이 축산(竺山 ; 용궁의 옛이름), 거주지가 용궁으로 되어 있는 것으로 보아 천안과 축산은 같은 근원으로 보이며, 따라서 축산김씨의 시조로 되어 있는 김덕린과 동일 인물로 생각된다.
  한편 좌우위력장군 김윤명(金允明)을 시조로 전하는 문헌도 있다.
