최응립 (崔應立)

  영의정 최항(恒)의 후손이다.

  1624년(인조 2) 이괄(李适)의 난이 일어나자 가동과 민병 300명을 거느리고 길마재(안현) 싸움에서 공을 세웠다.
  그 후 태인에서 은거하다가
  1636년에 병자호란이 일어나자 다시 민병 수천 명을 거느리고 강화도에서 분전하다가 전사했다.
