오건 (吳健)

  1549년(명종 4) 어머니가 죽자 여막을 짓고 3년간 시묘를하여 효성이 예조에 알려져 포상되었다.

  1558년 식년문과에 병과로 급제하고,
  1567년 정언을 거쳐,
  1571년(선조 4) 이조좌랑으로 춘추관 기사관을 겸하여 "명종실록(明宗實錄)"의 편찬에 참여했다.
  다음해 사직하고 고향에서 독서와 집필로 여생을 보냈다.

  산청의 서계서원(西溪書院)에 제향되었다.

  저서로서는 덕계집(德溪集), 정묘일기(丁卯日記) 등이 있다.
