오찬조 (吳纘祖)
선조 때 무과에 급제하고, 1592년(선조 25)
임진왜란(壬辰倭亂) 때 동관을 수비하여 공을 세우고 남원 중군이 되어 숙성령,
곤양, 길안 등지에서 승리했다. 이어 율현 싸움에서 적을 격퇴한
공으로 절도사에 올랐다.
