정사호 (鄭賜湖)

  장령 정이주의 아들이다.

  1577년(선조 10) 별시문과에 병과로 급제,
  주서, 호조좌랑 등을 거쳐
  1597년 안동부사가 되고,
  1599년 대사헌으로 사은사가 되어 명나라에 다녀왔다.
  그 후 이조참판, 한성부 우윤, 평안도와 경기도의 관찰사 등을 역임
  1614년 형조판서가 되었고, 이듬해 이조판서가 되었으나 나아가지 않았다.

  글씨를 잘 썼다.

  청주의 수락서원에 제향되었다.
  글씨에 연성대첩비(延城大捷碑)가 있다.
