현석문 (玄錫文)
교명:칼로로 天主敎殉敎者
역관
현계흠의 아들.
1836년(조선 헌종 2) 의주에 가서 프랑스 선교사 앵베르
주교를 맞아들였으며 전도에 힘써 천주교 한양회장에 임명되었다.
1839년(헌종 5) 기해박해로 아내와 누이가 순교, 이해 "천주교순교자열전(天主敎殉敎者列傳)"의
집필을 시작해서 3년만에 "기해일기(己亥日記)"라는 이름으로 완성했다.
1846년(헌종 12) 김대건(金大建)등과 함께 새남터에서 순교, 1925년 교황비오11세에
의하여 복자위에 올랐다.
