홍주 홍씨 (洪州洪氏)

시조(始祖) : 홍규(洪規)

  시조 홍규(規)는 고려 태조 왕건이 남벌할 때 홍주에서 처음만나 계책을 세워 수원을 얻고 견훤을 토평하는데 공을 세워 개국공신으로 해풍부원군(해풍은 현 홍주)에 봉해졌다.
  그래서 후손들이 본관을 홍주(洪州)로 하였다.
