 함부림 (咸傅霖)

 

 


  검교중추원 학사 함승경의 아들이다.

  1385년(우왕 11) 문과에 급제, 검열·좌정언 등을 거쳐
  1389년(공양왕 즉위) 우헌납이 되었다.
  그 후 형조정랑을 거쳐
  1392년 병조정랑겸 도평의사사 경력사 도사가 되고,
  이해 이성계(李成桂)를 도와 개국공신 3등에 책록되었다.
  예조의랑에 이어 좌산기상시로 상서소윤을 겸임했고 명성군에 봉해졌다.
  1403년(태종 3) 참지의정부사가 되어 동원군에 개봉되었고, 다음해 대사헌이 되었다.
  1408년 형조판서에 오르고 병으로 사직했다가
  곧 경기·충청·경상·황해등 각도의 도관찰출척사, 동북면 도순문찰리사를 역임했다.
