웅천 김씨 (熊川金氏)

시조(始祖) : 김중재(金重材)

  시조 김중재(重材)는 관직이 수의부위에 올랐으며 그의 선조가 신라말에 견훤이 고구려를 침범하자 이를 물리치고 웅신현(웅천)을 식읍으로 하사받아 그곳에서 살았다고 한다.
  그러나 문헌이 없어져서 이름은 전하지 않고 있다.
