보령 김씨 (保寧金氏)

시조 : 김극성(金克成), 김억적(金億籍)

  보령 김씨는 시조를 달리하는 두 계통이 있다.
  그 중 한 계통은 김흥광(興光)의 후손으로 1498년(연산군 4) 별시문과에 급제하여 전적(典籍)을 시작으로 예조판서(禮曹判書)를 지내고 찬성(贊成)에 오른 김극성(克成)을 시조로 하고,
  다른 한 계통은 병조정랑(兵曹正郞)을 지내고 보령(保寧)에 정착 세거한 김억적(億籍)을 1세조(一世祖)로 하여 세계(世系)를 계승하는 계통(系統)이다.

   김필영(弼英) : 판관(判關)을 역임하였다.
